Day 5 - "Kiwi Sunrise" a 6”x6” acrylic painting on stretched canvas. This piece is part of my painting a day series started March 2nd, 2020. This series was inspired to spice up my daily painting practice. I enjoyed the first little painting so much I decided to make it into a daily challenge.

Each day I searched for something I had on hand that I found beautiful or interesting and painted it from my point of view. This collection was a bit usual from my regular painting practice as I generally work from a photo on a larger scale. In this series of work, I hoped to further explore and develop color, mark-making, and my general sense of style.
