A peak inside my studio: A poem

what’s hidden in drawers,

on tables and carts?

brushes,

stacked canvas,

A jar collection of sorts,

tubes of paint and their palette,

waiting to meet,

grab a tea and relax,

kick up your feet!

Creating art breathes flow into my life. I give myself the freedom to experiment and fail. This is part of my creative process.

When I can allow myself to create intuitively without being attached to the final product that is where the magic lies.

Giving myself permission to lean into the unknown. To come back to a piece adding layer upon layer. This is my practice.

A cycle of beauty and mess; curiosity, freedom, growth, harmony, and delight.
